The Mighty Standalone Drilldown Page ¶
Just a few days ago I’ve implemented the drilldown feature. Now this was just the first step; here’s number two:
The new standalone drilldown page! Can be used by everyone with or without logging into TwerpScan. It’s linked from the front page, and here’s how it works. (Click the thumbnails to get a bigger version of the image.)
- Enter a Twitter name…
- …and get some information about this person. That’s it. :)
And if you want to check another person, just click the original username in the headline to change it, enter another name and off you go:
You might have noticed that I’ve added a little graph to the page, showing the follower count of the last 8 weeks. TwitterCounter deserves a tip to the hat for that, as they make these numbers available via an API. Cheers!
And the last thing: The nice part is that you can pass “your” URL on to others. For example, here is mine, from the above example: http://twerpscan.com/info/drilldown/Carlo. There’s also a short(er) version, namely http://twerpscan.com/i/Carlo. (The latter will come in handy once I’ve added a tweeter to the standalone page.)
